Different Types of Bracelets for Men
People are so used to women wearing accessories such as necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. The choices for them are so varied it’s almost impossible to choose just one. Men, on the other hand, wear accessories too, and although relatively fewer, the options for them are not as limited as some people would think.
Let’s take for example bracelets. You, as a man, have the chance to pick the one that suits you the best. Browse through the most common types of bracelets for men below and see the options available for you.
Broad Metal Bands
For the most upscale type of bracelet, you might want to choose a broad metal band. You may pair it with formal wear as its simplicity speaks class. There are no gems or other sparkling stones on it, which is a good thing because, otherwise, it might not look as good with suits as it does now.
Another metal bracelet you might want to wear is ID bracelet. These were originally given to soldiers in World War II, but it was accepted to be a fashion bracelet for men in the 1950’s - even James Dean wore it. Wearing this might give you a retro look, but you can modernize it by pairing it only with jeans and plain tees.
Do you feel like rocking? Well, there are bracelets that will exude that vibe. Rock & Roll bracelets are common among band members and other rockers. It’s a thick band around the wrist with different designs. One of the most common ones is the skull. That is why most rock & roll bracelets you will see have at least one skull on it that is surrounded by other types of chains.
If you want a thick band around your wrist but don’t really fancy skulls and such, you can just wear a leather cuff. It still gives that manly vibe, but it doesn’t limit you to the “rocker” vibe. However, as cool as these cuffs might be, they do not look good with formal wear such as suits, but they can definitely be worn with your everyday tees and jeans and maybe a pair of solid plain boots.
For a more Bohemian vibe, you may opt to wear string bracelets. Unlike leather cuffs and the others, these bracelets are made up of small strings put together around your wrist. That is not to say that they are not manly too. Many string or rope bracelets are in simple black or brown, which allow you to be simple yet stylish at the same time.
At first, bead bracelets might be hard to imagine being worn by men. However, in recent years, it has become a popular choice. The thing about these bracelets is that you can wear them with your formal wear. You just have to make sure that the color and size match your whole outfit. For example, if you’re wearing a suit you might want to wear a bead bracelet with a minimalist design- small beads and black in color.
You have to know that if you only look further, there are more types of bracelets available for you. It really just depends on which one suits you the most.
